Rebekah Burgdorf, owner of Cody Paw Spa, has a passion for dog training. In addition to private lessons, community classes, and 4-H classes, she was a field trainer and area coordinator for an assistance dog organization in the midwest. She has been training dogs for about nine years and has been grooming for two.
Growing up with German Shepherd Dogs, Rebekah now has Australian Kelpies. Savannah, a Kelpie mix, is retired from doing assistance dog demonstrations, but still enjoys working around the house. Sailor, Rebekah's young Kelpie, lives to work sheep. He recently began competing in agility trials, where his goal is to make Rebekah think REALLY FAST! He's also learning obedience, freestyle, mushing, tricks, and assistance dog skills. Sailor is generally the first to offer a greeting to anyone walking into the shop!
When she is not grooming, training, or competing with her dogs, Rebekah pursues her other passion - horses.
